The 10th Anniversary Meeting of the International Assocation for Art and Psychology will take place in Montepulciano, Italy between the 18th and 20th of June. Semir Zeki will give a talk entitled The objectivity of subjective truths: Beauty, desire, love.

ANFA Interfaces

The Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture announces a new series of events, ANFA Interfaces. The first event will be the renowned architect Gordon H. Chong presenting his talk, "designedinformed…transforming evidence into innovation". It will be followed by a commentary from the Salk Institute neuroscientist, Dr. Fred "Rusty" Gage, as well as an open discussion and participation from the audience. Optical Portraiture: Painting the 3rd Dimension

Gallery 286 hosts the exhibition Optical Portraiture: Painting the 3rd Dimension by Roy Amiss. The exhibition features the unique optical paintings of Roy Amiss which he has dubbed ‘hand-painted holographs’, owing to their similarity in appearance to holograms, but emphasising the hand-made aspect of using a paintbrush instead of a laser.
